The large and fearsome castle belonging to the leader of the Army of Darkness lies in the middle of the territory for their army. This is where the Lord of Darkness conducts his plans ... well where he once conducted them. Since his downfall there has only been slow build of the castle. Since this was the second time it was destroyed, the workers are slower on this rebuild. That and the fact that the Lord of Darkness is in hiding is likely why they are not working as hard as they normally would. There's lots of rain here and the temperature does not normally even reach freezing. It is not known if anyone still lives here.
